BEND, OR- Sept. 1, 2010 – The Bend WebCAM – web, creative and marketing conference ( presented by Pixelsilk – will be held for the second time in Bend, Oregon, September 30 - October 1, 2010. Featuring some of the leading innovators in traditional and interactive media, and Search Engine Optimization (SEO), the conference is gearing up to be a must-attend for all marketing, web, and creative professionals.

Speaker and panel highlights include keynote presentations by Jason Bagley with Wieden + Kennedy in Portland, OR, who will discuss the revolutionary Old Spice “Smell Like a Man, Man” campaign; Mike Geiger with Goodby Silverstein & Partners in San Francisco, who led the agency’s transformation from a traditional ad agency into a fully integrated one; and a closing keynote on “the History of SEO,” moderated by local expert Mark Knowles. Keynote Jason Bagley, Creative Director for Old Spice at Wieden + Kennedy (, will share “Lessons I Learned From The Man Your Man Could Smell Like.” Since its launch in February, the “Smell Like a Man, Man” campaign has generated more than 1.4 billion impressions for the brand, including 130 million video views! The first-of-its kind Old Spice social-media response videos generated and unheard of 23 million views in just 36 hours. Mr. Bagley will share his experience on everything from casting the incredibly handsome and charismatic spokesman to the elements in place that enabled the campaign to become such a cultural and viral sensation.

Mike Geiger, Chief Digital Officer at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners (GS&P) ( will present a keynote entitled, “The Best of Both Worlds – Goodby’s Transformation Into An Integrated Agency.” Mr. Geiger oversees interactive, digital and emerging technology projects, and has led multidisciplinary teams in strategy, branding, interaction design and development of cutting-edge new media and advertising content for clients, such as Hewlett-Packard, Adobe, Comcast, Sprint, Got Milk?, Gucci and the NBA. His work has won prestigious awards including Cannes Cyber Lions and Clios. In an amazingly short time, Geiger’s efforts helped GS&P earn honors as the One Club’s Digital Agency of the Year in 2009, as well as ADWEEK’s Agency of the Decade.

In addition to these keynote speakers, Bend WebCAM will feature more than a dozen speakers leading breakout sessions exploring the left brain (Geek), right brain (Chic) and hybrid (SuperFreak) worlds of traditional and interactive marketing. Plus, the conference will bring back its highly popular “Hot Seat” session in which a group of industry geniuses critique various websites submitted by attendees. The “Hot Seat” opportunity is open to attendees looking to have their website reviewed by experts in both the SEO and creative fields. The selected websites will be evaluated from the technical search perspective to the social media, conversion and creative perspectives. The Hot Seat panel will give real-life direction and advice that any attendee can use to improve their rankings in the search engines and gain customers.
