The Let's Make a Space Makeover Award
Submission Deadline: Friday March 7, 2008
If
you’re an AdFed member and you have an amazing “before” and “after”
you’d like to showcase (from any Drake category, any date), then we’d
like to see it. If yours is selected, we’ll present you with the 2008
Makeover Award on stage this year at the Drakes. Since this is not an
“official” Drake entry (yet) you don’t have to worry about when the
work was done, we just want to honor the best, most visible
transformations.
 Rules:
- Entry Fee: FREE!
- No Mounting Needed! We will display them digitally.
- Campaigns are allowed but the ideal candidates are probably brandmarks, website home pages, ads, packaging, etc.
- The top entries and winner will be showcased at the Drakes.
- Email your entries to steve@zfari.com as three separate files in a large JPG format:
- Before
- After
- Your logo (we will place your logo on the slide after judging)
Hacker Creative Award
Nomination Deadline: February 22nd, 2008
 The Hacker Creative Award is an annual honor given to a member of the Central Oregon advertising community who continually raises the bar for excellence in advertising, inspires creativity in others and uses creative work to achieve business goals and objectives. The late Tom Hacker exemplified all of these things and this award was established in his memory.
Past recipients of the Hacker Creative Award include: DVA Advertising, Paul Evers, Tim Underwood, Cam Davis, Kevin Archer, René Bristow Mitchell, Kathy Valenti and Mike Houska and Chris Rubin.
Nominees from 2007 who did not win the award are eligible for two more years without being renominated. However, those who nominated them are welcome and encouraged to submit new information and/or support materials that will enhance the nominee's chances of winning.

Silver Medal Award
Nomination Deadline: February 22nd, 2008
The Silver Medal Award was started by the American Advertising Federation (AAF) nearly 50 years ago. Today, the Advertising Federation of Central Oregon, as a chapter club of AAF, honors one of its members with the Silver Medal Award. The award is designed to recognize individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the advertising community, demonstrated creative excellence and responsibility in areas of social concern.
Recipients have also been actively involved in AdFed and provided positive contributions to the organization’s goals and mission.
Past recipients of the Silver Medal Award include: Chris Hale, Wendie Every, Georell Bracelin, Patti Widmer and Lisa Flynn.
Nominees
