Ad Fed members to take local non-profit to the next level
Advertising design & plan to be awarded to local non-profit, application deadline 9/2

More than 200 of Central Oregon's most dynamic advertising, marketing, and public relations professionals are joining forces to ensure that one local non-profit has what it takes to make a splash in today's competitive advertising market.

Advertising Federation of Central Oregon (Ad Fed) will share the cumulative expertise of its members with one local non-profit in the form of a one-year, start to finish, advertising campaign.

Ad Fed has a very large member base and these people are committed to giving back their talents to a service agency that might not have the funds necessary to promote themselves otherwise,  says Molly Renner, Advertising Federation of Central Oregon Public Service Chair. It is the least that we can do to ensure that these amazing agencies are visible, and that their mission is clear, to their clients in our community.

Interested groups are asked to submit an application for consideration to Ad Fed by Monday, September 2. The application packet can be downloaded at www.adfedco.org

To qualify:

  • Organization's project/campaign must be completed within one year of start date.
  • Organization must have a marketing plan and budget to support the project.
  • Ad Fed will work with one point of contact at organization.
  • Organization must be a 501 (3) (C).

Three finalists will be interviewed during the week of September 15, 2008. The award grantee is expected to be announced on September 19, 2008.

Each year, Ad Fed members offer their services to a local non-profit organization in the community. Most recently the club has aided in the development and implementation of advertising campaigns for the Meth Coalition, Hunger Prevention Coalition, Commission on Children and Families, and Central Oregon Resources for Independent Living (CORIL).
