Overview
Central Oregon Community College is currently developing an Adult Education Graphic Design curriculum. This set of coursework is intended to give a new student a chance to check out the field and learn basic fundamentals as well as offer on-going skills to those already in the industry needing to keep current with software and trends.
Sample Classes
“Basic Design, Color and Type” – Just what it says... design, type and color fundamentals.
“The Best Newsletter Ever!” – An introduction to InDesign and page layout.
“Making Good Photos Great” - An introduction to Photoshop and basic retouching.
“I Need a Logo!” - A look at great logos and how to design them with Illustrator.
“Spinning a Great Web Page” - Introduction to web design and basic programming with GoLive.
