Attendees will be able to attend all 4 workshops, or stay at the same workshop multiple times, and will choose where they will go for each 1/2 hour timeslot.

Workshops Overview
1) Fundraiser vs. friend raiser—it’s all about relationship building.

Cultivate and educate your donor base about the organization’s mission. Turn skeptics into ambassadors, volunteers, and committed donors. Find out how fundraising differs from friend raising.

Moderators: Heidi Berkman (H. Berkman & Associates) and Rich Rozic, non-profit professional.

2) Web Management—managing your database—online marketing of your site to your donors, members and other organizations and making the most of donor information.

Using your web site as a marketing tool including a discussion about integrated web marketing tools and techniques for branding and Interactivity. Know what donor information and how to keep your data base updated.

Moderators: Wendy Epner, Smart Solutions Web Development Team will discuss marketing online and Jeff Leeland, Executive Director of Sparrow Clubs in Central Oregon addresses donor database management.

3) Effective Sponsorship solicitation—what’s in it for the sponsors? How to make the ask and get results.

What do companies look for when considering sponsorships? Companies receive multiple requests for sponsorships each day. Make your request stand out among the non profit crowd. Learn how to provide value and recognition to your sponsors.
