What do you do? Any special talents? |
I’m the Marketing Director for Visit Bend (formerly the Bend Visitor and Convention Bureau). Prior to joining Visit Bend, I spent more than six years as the marketing director for RE/MAX Sunset Realty & Vacations, the largest independent vacation rental company in Sunriver. In addition to my full-time day job, I own a marketing communications company, Lu Solutions, specializing in website design with an emphasis on SEO from the start. In addition, I help my husband, Jay, run his business enterprise. I’m a self-confessed workaholic trying to recover. I can still do a Genie Drop from the bars—does this count as a special talent? |

How many years have you been involved with AdFed? |
I’ve been an AdFed member since I moved here in 2001 and a board member since 2006. |
What has AdFed done for you? |
The connections and friends I've made through AdFed have been invaluable. Being able to associate with my peers in a creative atmosphere while listening to hot topics and speakers that are from some pretty amazing companies is always inspiring. I often come away with new ideas and fresh approaches to projects I am currently tackling. |

What do you do for fun? |
The two A's rule my life-Adrenaline and Adventure. I'm an avid snowboarder, dirt bike rider, rock climber, jet skier, surfer, diver and more. I love to travel but don't get to indulge in it as much as I would like. Exotic, off the beaten path beach locales are my favorite kind of places. |
Favorite Central Oregon spot? |
Big Lake in the summer months for jet skiing, wakeboarding/surfing and dirt bike riding. In the winter months, you'll find me at Bachelor snowboarding or on a motocross track some place in Central Oregon. |
Tell us something about you that most people would be surprised to know? |
Sliding out of control on a Mt. Rainier glacier towards a rock cliff face. And, I lived to tell the tale. A backcountry snowboarding adventure gone wrong…really, really wrong. |
What 3 things would you like to have with you on a deserted tropical island? |
My hubby, Jay. My pup, Gitsy, and my dream beach house. |
